Bea R. Hope 2008 Introduction - Bea R. Hope is designed exclusively for the 2008 Daffodil Days. The daffodil is the first flower of spring, and is the perennial American Cancer Society symbol of hope for the cancer patients throughout the community. This years Boyds Bears exclusive, limited-edition bear, named "Bea R. Hope", is a 10-inch tall, plush, oatmeal colored, bean-filled bear with black eyes, holding a single daffodil that has a honey bee on it. In addition, Bea R. Hope has daffodils and the American Cancer Society logo embroidered on her footpads. ALL profits from this bear will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Hugh R. Hope 2007 - Say hello to Hugh R. Hope, the Boyds Collection, Ltd. exclusive, limited-edition bear created especially for the 2007 Daffodil Days Bear and a Bunch campaign. Hugh is a 12-inch tall, plush, rust-colored, bean-filled bear with brown eyes and a denim cap with the words Daffodil Days on the front and the Society's Web site, www.cancer.org on the back. As with previous Bear and a Bunch products, Hugh has an embroidered daffodil on one paw and the American Cancer Society logo on the other. He shares the message that colorectal cancer can often be prevented through screening. ALL profits from this bear will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
